  Niagara Gazette - 5/12/1875 Mrs. Abby Whitney, step mother of Mr. John Whitney and sister of Mrs. A. Packard, died at the residence of her son Saturday evening. Mrs. Whitney was amoug the oldest residents of the town, having reached the unusual age of nearly eighty years.
