RANSOMVLLLE June 7.-A very
pretty wedding took place last Saturday
at 3 o'clock in the North Ridge
Lutheran church when Miss Elizabeth
Wiepert, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Charles Wiepert, became the bride of
Arthur Baker, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Elbert Baker. The Rev. J. Barklow
performed the ceremony. The brlde,
who was given in marriage by her
father, wore a becoming gown of white
chiffon. Her tulle veil was caught with
orange blossoms and she carried a
shower bouquet of white roses and baby
breath. Miss Gertrude Wiepert, sister
of the bride, acted as bridesmaid and
wore pink chiffon, her arm bouquet being
pink roses. The groom was attended
by his brother, Howard Baker. Mr.
Albert Hecht and Mr. Charles Ford
acted as ushers.
Following the ceremony the bridal
party and Immediate family left for
Niagara Falls where they were served
llnner at Banners tea room. Mr. and
Mrs. Baker will make their home at
Youngstown, N. Y.
Pre-nuptlals were a green kitchen
shower given by Mrs. Fred Tower,
variety shower given by Mrs. Albert
Hecht and Miss Mabel Wiepert, A dinner
was given by employes of the Niagara
Searchlight, presenting a floor
lamp.
