TOWN OF NIAGARA - More than 200 friends
and relatives attended the 50th wedding anniversary
open house of Mr. and Mrs. C. Ray Wigle. 7721 Porter
Road. The open house was arranged at Niagara United
Presbyterian Church by Mr. and Mrs. Wigle's children.
Mr. and Mrs. Wigle were
married Oct. 9, 1912. at the
home of the bride, the former
Emma Mae Schwingle,
Niagara Falls.
Children of the couple include
E. Ray Wigle, Robert
G. Wigle, both of Niagara
Falls; George L. Wigle. California;
Mrs. Frank (Johanna)
Coppersmith, Emporium,
Pa.; Charles L. Wigle,
stationed with the U.S. Army
in Germany, and Mrs. Charles
(Audrey) Barwis. Phila-
rielphia. Pa. A seventh child.
Mrs. Merie (Vesta) Hawks.
Ransomville, died two years
ago.
The Wigles have 24 grandchildren
and 3 great grand-
children.

Ray Wigle. The wedding will take

A very pretty wedding was solemnized
at high noon yesterday at the
homo of the bride's parents, Mr. and
Mrs. George J. Scwlngle In Twentysecond
street.. whon their daughter.
Emma May. became the bride of Mr.
Charles Ray Wigle. The ceremony was
performed In front of a bank of ferns
In the parlor, the Reverend I. H. Crocker
of St. James Methodist church, officiating.
The guests were all relatives of Hie
young couple and were twenty-two In
number, those from out of town being
Mrs. Clifford Young of Wayland, N.
Y . and Mr. and Mrs. K. C. Schwlngle
and Miss Margaret Schwlngle of Buffalo.
Miss Margaret Schwlngle played the
wedding march. The bride, who was
unattended, wore a cream colored silk
dress. decorated with point lace and
carried a shower bouquet of bride's
roses.
° A wedding luncheon was served at
the bride's home Immediately following
the ceremony. The bride's table,
which was decorated with yellow dahlias,
was laid with covers for twelve.
Mr. and Mrs. Wigle left In the Afternoon
for a honeymoon trip to western
c i t i e s and will be at home after October
25th at No. 352 Ninth street.
The bride's traveling suit was of tan
rerge with brown velvelt hat.
