  North Tonawanda NY Evening News - 2/9/1942 Mrs Auguste C. Wilke, 87, died late Sunday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Kroening, 618 Old Niagara Falls boulevard. Mrs. Wilke was a lifelong resident of North Tonawanda and a charter member of the St. Matthew's Lutheran church on Wheatfield street. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Henry Papke of Niagara Falls, Mrs. Albert Ensminger.of Kenmore, Mrs. Kroening and Mrs. William R. Martin of Tonawanda; a son, Louis of North Tonawanda; 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and five brothers, Julius and George C. Fritz of North Tonawanda, Louis Fritz of the town of Wheatfield and John and Edward Fritz of Lockport. Rites will be held Wednesday afternoon at 4 o'clock from the Kroening residence. The Rev. Carl Frankenstein will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul's cemetery.
