- Obituary Of Paul John Mroczek
Paul John Mroczek passed away July 5, 2024 at his home with the care of his family and Niagara Hospice. Born May 3, 1947 in Niagara Falls, NY, Paul was the son of Stanley Mroczek and Wanda Brzenski Mroczek.
A graduate of LaSalle High School, Paul went on to serve four years in the Navy as a signalman and a proud Vietnam veteran. He worked for General Motors at the Harrison Radiator plant in Lockport, NY for 30 years.
Paul was a loving husband and God-fearing man who was happiest when sharing time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren and two sons. His passions and interests included the Civil War, health and wellness, cooking, juggling, football, and boxing among many others.
Paul was happiest when he could bring cheer to people. He was Santa Claus for the local malls where he loved to get kids to laugh and smile. He was an accomplished harmonica player, spending much of his free time playing country folk blues in the stylings of Sonny Terry.
Paul is survived by his loving wife Donna (Durma). They recently enjoyed celebrating their 52nd anniversary. He is also survived by sons Derek (Emily Schultz) Mroczek and Timothy Mroczek; grandchildren Colin, Samuel, Bebe, Josie, Skylar and his brother James (Lisa) Mroczek. Brother-in-law Dennis (Debra) Durma and niece Marguerite Durma.
Relatives and friends may call from 4-7PM on July 12, 2024 at the Taylor & Reynolds Funeral Home, 70 Niagara Street, Lockport, where the funeral service will be held Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 10:00 am. Burial will be held at a later date.
