  John L. Opera, of Lewiston, NY, passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at his home under the care of his family and Niagara Hospice. Mr. Opera is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Kathleen R. (Smith) Opera; his children, John Opera and Jane (Karl) Winkler; a granddaughter, Nina; a brother, Michael (Sharon) Opera; also his beloved extended family. His family will be present on Saturday from 9:00-10:00 AM at St. Peter's Church, 620 Center Street, Lewiston, NY, where his Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM. Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made in his name to Niagara Hospice. Arrangements were made through the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, Lewiston, NY.
