Mrs. Martha (Bartz)'Roth of
66 Cayuga Drive, Lewiston, died
today (Jan. 12, 1970) in Niagara
Falls Memorial Medical Center
after a short illness.
She was employed for more
than 30 years with the New
York Telephone Co., retiring in
1969.
Mrs. Roth was a member of
the Telephone Pioneers of America
and St. Paul's Lutheran
Church.
Mrs. Roth lived in Lewiston
for the last six years and prior
to that lived in Niagara Falls,
where she was born.
Surviving are her husband,
Herman Roth; a son, Bernhard
P. Roth, Shawnee Mission,
Kan.; a daughter, Mrs. Robert
(Doreen) Herbst of the Town
of Niagara; a sister, Mrs. Hilda
Frye, this city; a brother, Paul
Bartz, also of Niagara Falls
and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held
Thursday from St. Paul's Lutheran
Church, Cleveland Avenue
and-18th Street, with the
Rev: Theodore Mentor officiating.
The family will be present at
the Otto Redanz Funeral Home
Tuesday and Wednesday 2 to
5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Burial
will be in St. Paul's Lutheran
Cemetery.
The family said that donations
to the memorial fund of St.
Paul's Lutheran Church will be
acceptable as tributes.
