Mrs. Ellen Davey, 92, of
1841 Linwood Avenue, died
Saturday (June 12, 1971) at
the Restwell Nursing Home
after a long illness.
Mrs. Davey was born in
Cardiff, Wales, and lived the
last 60 years in Niagara Falls,
many.of them at 1818 Pierce
Avenue. She was a member
of Pierce Avenue Presbyterian
Church.
. She is survived by two
daughters, Mrs. Harry (Elsie)
Miller, Sun City, Arizona, and
Mrs. Edward (Winifred)
Hasley, Niagara Falls; a
sister, Mrs. Lily Hall, Penrath,-
Wales; six grandchildren
and 13 great
grandchildren. Mrs. Davey's
husband, John Davey, died in
1936.
* Funeral services will be
held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at
the Otto Redanz Funeral
Home, Michigan Avenue and
Tenth Street, with the Rev,
Roger E. Purdy officiating.
Burial will be in Memorial
" Park, Cemetery,
Friends may call, at the
funeral home today and
Monday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m.
