  Lockport NY Union Sun Journal - 11/23/1918 GILBERTS CORNERS, Nov. 23 - The funeral of Fred Bruning who died Nov. 18th, after one week's illness With Influenza and pneumonia waa held Thursday from the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Aug. Burning, Rev, J. Bartell of Wolcottsville officiated. He leaves to mourn his loss one son, David Brunlng. his parents, a twin brother, George, one sister, Mrs. Fred Mann. The floral tributes were many and beautiful. The bearers were six friends, George Stahl, Edward Latch, Harold Ladd, Leo Grassman and George Smith and Oliver Williams. The burial was at Wolcottsville cemetery.
