  The Tonawanda News LOCKPORT — George Wasieczko, 55, of North Tonawanda, entered into rest on Sunday, February 6, 2011 at Niagara Hospice. Born July 1, 1955 in North Tonawanda to the late Roman and Leocadia (nee Broniszewski). George was a member of Abiding Savior Lutheran Church and he was a shop technician at Praxair in Niagara Falls. Beloved husband of Deborah (nee Allen); dear father of Stacey, Amy (Matthew) Bretherton and Raymond; brother of Paul (Paula), Theresa (Thomas) Karkau and Ann (Steven) Heuer; uncle of Sandra (Michael) Coffta, Andrew Karkau and three great-nieces; also survived by his parents-in-law, Joan (Robert) McCarty; sister-in-law, Tracy (Gary) DeGregorio) Montie; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends may call Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the HILLIARD-CREASEY FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 147 Delaware St., Tonawanda, NY 14150, where a funeral service will be Thursday at 10 AM. Rev. Kathleen DeRushia will officiate. Interment, Elmlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Niagara Hospice would be appreciated.
