Mrs. Lavinia a. Wilson, 70 years
old, a well known resident of the
LaSalle section of the city for many
years, died last night in Memorial
hospital.
Mrs. Wilson, who was born in Ni-
agara Falls, Ont., had resided in
Niagara Falls for 50 years. She was
well known through her activity in
many local organizations. she was
a member of the Dorothy Bell Re-
bekah Lodge; the Niagar Falls
Court, No. 30, Order of Amaranth;
the White Shrine; the Independent
Order of Foresters; Niagara Falls
Chapter, No. 582, Order of Eastern
Star, and the LaSalle American Le-
gion post auxiliary.
She is survived by three sons,
William J. Herbert G. and Howard
C. Wilson, all of this city, and a
sister and brother, Mrs. Rose Can-
non and Albert J. Browning, both
of New Jersey. Four grandchildren
also survive.
Funeral services will be held from
the family home, 7827 Buffalo ave-
nue, Thursday at 2:30 p.m. with the
Rev. Melvin J. Hill officiating. Serv-
ices at the grave in Riverdale ceme-
tery will be conducted by the O. E.
S.
