Judith Anne (Mallette) Gibbs, lifetime area resident, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2024. She was 71. She was born in Niagara Falls on March 30, 1953, a daughter of the late John C. and Jeanne Pearle (Underhill) Mallette.
Judith attended local school and graduated from LaSalle Senior High School in 1971. She worked for FedEx in Tonawanda for 30 years. She enjoyed going to the casino and watching television.
She is survived by three siblings: Linda (Andrew) Slowik, Claudia (late Gary) Cooper and John (late Kathy) Mallette, Jr., and 5 nieces and nephews: Sandy (Dave) Gosselin, Michael Slowik, Stephen (Amanda) Deskovic, Jill (Michael) Rhoat and Samantha (Jason) Cooper.
Judy is also survived by 9 great-nieces and great-nephews: Allison (Zach) Gosselin, Sam Gosselin, Matthew Slowik, Mariah Slowik, Autumn Rhoat, Brooklynn Rhoat, Michael Rhoat, Layla Rhoat and Avery Brown.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Harry Gibbs, Sr. (2012) and her son Harry Gibbs, Jr. (2017).
As per Judy’s wishes, there will be no visitation and services will be private.
