- Joseph Mangione, 90, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Nathan Adelson Hospice Facility in Las Vegas, NV. Born in Niagara Falls, he was the beloved son of Samuel and Rose (Palermo) Mangione.
Joseph was an extremely talented musician and conductor of the Joseph Mangione Big Band Orchestra in Niagara Falls for many years. He was also employed as a salesman locally. Joseph was a passionate woodworker and enjoyed manufacturing furniture.
Mr. Mangione is survived by his daughter, Darlene (Ken) Swierski of Las Vegas, NV; one granddaughter, Melissa (Francisco) Moreno; one great-granddaughter, Penelope; and his brother, Frank Mangione of Niagara Falls. He was predeceased by two brothers, Samuel and Gus Mangione.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 28th from 4-7 PM at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, where funeral services will begin Wednesday at 11 AM. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery.
