- Kathleen “Kathy” Marie (Kinney) Mallette, of Niagara Falls, died on Saturday, October 6, 2017 in Roswell Park Cancer Institute. She was 60 years old. Kathy was born in Niagara Falls on September 7, 1957, a daughter of the late Edward and Phyllis (Wackett) Kinney. She was a graduate of the former LaSalle Senior High School, Class of 1975.
She was employed by several area restaurants as a waitress. She worked the longest at the former Royal Chef Restaurant on Main Street.
Kathy is survived by her husband of 33 years, John C. Mallette, Jr; a sister, Nancy Kinney of Myrtle Beach, SC; her beloved Golden Retriever, Jackson; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her brother Edward Kinney.
Friends may visit with the family Saturday, October 14 after 2 PM at their residence, 646 – 60th Street, Niagara Falls. The interment will be private. The LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., is handling the funeral arrangements. Memorials, if desired, may be made to Roswell Park.
