RANSOMVILLE - William J.
Blair, 62, Harris Ave., died Sunday
(Sept. 7, 1958) in DeGraff Memorial
Hospital, North Tonawanda,
where he was taken by ambulance
after suffering a heart attack while
visiting friends in that pity.
Mr, Blair came to Ransomville
a year ago after his retirement
from the General Abrasives Co.,
Niagara Falls, where he was employed
for 30 years as a grain inspector.
Born in North Bay, Ont.,
Mr. Blair moved to Niagara Falls
in 1926 and was married soon after
to Pearl Myers, a native of Mt.
Carmel, Ill.
Survivors include his wife; a son,
Donald Blair, at home; a daughter,
Mrs. Charles Holder, St. Marys,
Pa.; three brothers, Frank and
Charles Blair, Sprucedale, Ont.,
and allen Blair, Fort Myers, Fla.;
and two sisters, Mrs. George
Powell, Niagara Falls, Ont., Mrs.
Edward Caldwell, Bella, Ont.
Funeral services will be con-
ducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the
Hardison Funeral Home. Burial
will be in North Ridge Cemetery.
