Cambria, Saturday
(April 30, 1977). Mr.
Winter was a retired
supervisor for National
Grinding Wheel and a
World War II Marine
Corps veteran.
He is survived by his
w i f e , Edna (nee
Hallstad) Winter; one
step-son, William Harris
of Cambridge, Mass.; a
step-daughter, Mrs. Ann
Gilligan of Capitola,
Calif.; one brother,
Walter Winter of Lockport;
two sisters, Mrs.
Margaret House of
Sanborn and Mrs. Lily
Hamann of Lockport and
six grandchildren.
Friends may call from
2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., at
the Wattengel Funeral
Home, Inc., 307 Oliver
St., North Tonawanda
where services will be
held Wednesday at 1:30
p.m., the Rev. Carl E.
Berges officiating. Burial
will be at Wheatfield
Cemetery. In lieu of
flowers, memorials may
be made to the American
Heart Association.
