MRS BERNICE FLAY
Mrs. Bernice Ann Flay, 52, of 3029 McKoon Ave., died Wednesday (Dec. 8. 1971) in Memorial Medical Center after a long illness. Born in Toronto, Ont., she lived in Niagara Falls 50 years. Mrs. Flay was a life member of the Women's Missionary Society, treasurer of the Niagara Falls Historical Society, a former member of Plumbers Auxiliary No. 69 and a Gray Lady at Memorial Medical Center. She was an election inspector in the DeVeaux area for the last 10 years. Survivors include her husband. Frank L. Flay; her mother, Mrs. Howard (Lulu) Powell of Big Bear City, Calif.; two sons, Charles J. Flay of Vernon, N.Y.. and Frank L. Flay Jr. of Sanborn; a daughter, Mrs, Duane (Shirley) Henneman of this city; a sister, Mis. Harry (Hazel) Moshier of Lovington, N.M., and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at St. Paul's Calvary Lutheran Church, at 1 p.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Theodore Menter officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the Otto Redanz Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Contributions to St. Paul's Calvary Lutheran Church Memorial Fund are acceptable as tribute, the family said.
