NORTH TONAWANDA — Ruth M. Krull (nee Lebrenz), age 77, of North Tonawanda, March 5, 2011, at her home, after a lengthy illness. Ruth was a lifelong member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church and the Ladies Guild. She was the wife of the late Melvin Krull, who died in 1993.
Beloved mother of Daniel (Jan) Krull of Williamsport, MD, Douglas Krull of North Tonawanda and Sharon (Brian McGregor) Tonkin of Toronto, Ontario. Grandmother of Matthew, Andrew (Gayle) and Rachel Krull, Marie and Jessica Tonkin. Great-grandmother of Dylan and Hannah Krull; sister of Shirley Weiss of Deluth, GA and the late Charles Lebrenz and Beatrice Krause. She is survived by many special cousins, friends, nieces and nephews. She was a special friend of the late Albert Hebeler.
Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd., in North Tonawanda on Wednesday from 1-9 PM. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:30 AM from St. Matthew Lutheran Church, the Rev. Gregory Schultz will officiate. Interment in St. Matthew Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Matthew Lutheran Church or Niagara Hospice.
