Pink and white gladioli and
palms decorated the altar of St
M.tthew's Evangelical Lutheran
Church for the marriage of Miss
Betty Rosebrock, daughter of Mrs.
Elsie Rosebrock of 198 Frederick-
ka street and William Witkopf of
Oakdale Drive. North Tonawanda,
held Saturday September 21 at 7
p.m. The Rev. Carl a. Franken-
stein officiated at the candlelight
ceremony.
Mrs. Harvey Haseley sand "O
Promise Me" and "The Lord's
Prayer" accompanied by Miss Alice
Schultz, organist.
Given in marriage by her
brother, Herbert Rosebrock, the
bride was lovely in a gown of
white metalic satin, fashioned with
sweetheart neckline, long sleeves
pointed over the wrists and a long
train. She wore a finger tip veil
of illusion and carried a bouquet
of white roses and pompoms. She
wore a strand of pearls the gift
of the bridegroom.
Miss Doris Rosebrock, sister of
the bride, the maid of honor, and
the bridesmaids, Miss Ruth Hase-
ly and Miss beatrice Hauser, cou-
sin of the bride, were gowned in
gold, pale blue and aqua respec-
tively. All carried bouquets of ros-
es.
Albert Witkop attended his
brother as best man and the ushers
were Wallace Hauser, cousin
of the bride, and Edward Bothwell,
a nephew of the bridegroom.
Mrs. Rosebrock, mother of the
bride, was attractive in a navy
blue crepe dress with matching
accessories and the bridegroom's
mother favored a black crepe
dress with black accessories. Both
wore corsages of roses.
Two hundred and fifty guests
attended a wedding reception held
in the Gratwick Hose house. A
three-tiered wedding cake centered
the buffet table from which
refreshments were served.
