Mr. and Mrs. Edward Zastrow.
Ward road, announce the engage-
ment of their daughter, June Mane,
to Mr. Elton R. Kropp, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Herman Kropp, Wilson

Miss June Zastrow. daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Edward Zastrow became
the bride of Elton R. Kropp,
soa of Mr. and Mrs. Herman
Kropp of Wilson in a ceremony
performed April 30 at 4:30 in St.
John's E v a n g e l i c a l Lutheran
Church. The Rev. J. W. Thiemecke
performed the ceremony.
Mrs. J. W. Thiemecke sang "O
Perfect Love" and Delbert Schultz
sang "The Lord's Prayer." William
Escheid presided at the organ.
The bride, who was given in
marriage by her father, wore a
gown of white satin, fashioned
with an oval neckline, fitted bodice
with appliqued flowers of seed
pearls. The full skirt was worn
over a hoop and lace petticoat,
colonial style, and extended into
a circular train edged in lace. Her
fingertip veil of illusion was edged
with matching lace and fell from
a bonnet of lace trimmed with
orange blossoms. She carried a
bouquet of white roses and sweetpeas.
Miss Betty Zastrow, sister of
the bride, and maid of honor,
wore s gown of hyacinth taffeta
with fitted bodice, sweetheart
neckline edged with lace, full
skirt with tiers of ruffled lace at
the back. She wore a net heartshaped
bonnel and taffeta mitts
to match her gown and carried a
bouquet of yellow roses tied with
yellow satin ribbon.
The bridesmaids were Miss Marilyn
Kropp, sister of the bridegroom,
Miss Jean Zastrow, Miss
Sally Luther and Mrs. Beatrice
Hetrick. All girls wore identical
gowns of taffeta fashioned with
off-shoulder necklines, fitted bodices
and full skirts, with matching
mitts and bonnets. Miss Kropp
and Miss Zastrow wore yellow
gowns and carried red roses. Miss
Luther and Mrs. Hetrick's gowns
were green and they carried pink
roses.
Miss Maxine Beutel, flower girl,
chose a yellow taffeta gown and
carried a small colonial bouquet
of mixed flowers. Master Gary
Andrees was sing bearer, carrying
a white satin pillow.
Richard Schultze attended the
bridegroom as best man. Ushers
were John Wright, Kenneth
Sprenger, Edward Heschke Jr.
and William Hetrick Jr.
A royal blue lace gown was
worn by the bride's mother with
a corsage of pink roses. The bridegroom's
mother favored navy blue
crepe with a corsage of pink roses.
Mrs. William Heschke, grandmother
of the bride, wore a navy
crepe dress with a corsage of red
roses.
After the ceremony a dinner was
served for the bridal party and
immediate family in the Park
Manor. A reception was held in
Ukranian Hall.
Parties were given for the
bride by Miss Betty Zastrow, Miss
Sally Luther, Mrs. Edward Heschke,
Mrs. William Werth, Miss Jean
Zastrow, Mrs. William Hetrick
Jr. and Miss Marilyn Kropp.
Mr. and Mrs. Kropp have returned
home after motoring to
Los Angeles, Cal., for a three
week's honeymoon.
