  Betty A. Kneeppel of Niagara Falls, died on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 in Mount St. Mary’s Hospital. She was 82. She was born in Red Level, Alabama on June 28, 1933, a daughter of the late J.T. and Jewel (Foshee) Brannan. She and her family settled in Niagara Falls when she was five. Betty had a long career with Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center as a Nurses Aid in the emergency room. She retired in 1994. She loved to garden, travel, especially on Whale watching tours in Cape Cod. A love for the outdoors, she also enjoyed bird watching. She was predeceased by her husband, Harry Kneeppel, Jr. on March 14, 2011 and her daughter, Judith Diane Kneeppel on September 20, 1977. Survivors include her daughter, Roxanne (Marc Wilson) Kneeppel of Niagara Falls; two grandsons, Jeremy Bayne of the Town of Niagara and Jason Bayne of Niagara Falls. Friends may call Sunday from 4-7 PM in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls, where the Rev. Donald Robinson will conduct Funeral services Monday at 1 PM. The interment will be held in North Ridge Cemetery, Town of Cambria.
