  North Tonawanda NY Evening News - 5/10/1948 James Shingledecker, 577, of Olean, N. Y., died in the Niagara County Sanitarium, Saturday morning. Born in Reynoldsville, Pa., he resided in North Tonawanda for 20 years, making his home at the Lewis Hotel, Webster St. He was an employe of the Bennett Lumber Company. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Minerva Lee, nee Shaw, of Olean; two sons, Frank of Olean and James of North Tonawanda; a daughter, Mrs. Alice Lorich of North Tonawanda; six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p. m. from the Pawenski Funeral Home, 679 Oliver St. The Rev. C. L. Brauri will officiate. Burial will be in Elmlawn.
