Austin. 53, of Greenwald Trailer
Court, died today (Oct 6. 1970)
at Newfane Inter-Community
Hospital after a long illness.
Mrs. Austin was born in
Wilson on April 1. 19 17.
daughter of the late Victor and
Mildred Drinkwater. She was
a resident of Barker for 10
years, and formerly a cook in
the Newfane hospital for two
years. She was a member of
the Barker Methodist Church.
Survivors include her
widower, Fred T. Austin; two
daughters, Mrs. Clinton (Pat)
Bailey, Rochester, and Mrs.
Paul (Jane) Guinn, Middleport;
seven sons, Robert and Clyde
Austin, of Lockport, Norman
Austin, Ransomville, David
Austin, of Barker, Richard
Austin, Lyndonville, Carl and
Neil Austin, both at home;
three brothers, Perry, and
Jerry Drinkwater, of Lockport,
and Ronald Drinkwater, of
Youngstown; two sisters, Mrs.
Terry (Norma) Major of Sac-
kets Haarbor and Mrs. Charles
(Lois) Clark, of Ransomville,
and 19 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held
at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Har-
dison Funeral Home, Ransom-
ville, with the Rev. Allyn C.
Foster, of the Barker Methodist
Church. Burial will be in North
Ridge Cemetery.
Friends may call at the
funeral home from 7 to9 p.m.
tonight and from 2 to 5 p.m.
and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
