WAMBSGANSS - Emma S. Wambsganss, 72, formerly of 246 Payne Ave., North Tonawanda, Saturday (July 25, 1970) after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Wambsganss was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and had previously taught at St. Paul Lutheran School. She was the daughter of the late Rev. and Mrs. William Wambsganss. Survived by seven sisters, Miss Theresa Wambsganss; Mrs. Harold Baer, Mrs. Louis Gonyou, all of North Tonawanda; Mrs. Hedwig Schmidt and Miss Freida Wambsganss, both of Sheboygan, Wis., Mrs. Herbert Lein of Cummings, Calif., and Mrs. Elmer Harrington of Lancaster, N.Y.; two brothers, Samuel H. and
Martin Wambsganss, both of the Tonawandas. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Friends may call at the Frethold Funeral Home Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Road, where services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. A. W. Moldenhauer will officiate. Interment in Elmlawn Cemetery. If so desired, memorials may be made to the Lutheran Hour or any other charity.
