  North Tonawanda NY Evening News - 6/24/1937 Mrs. Alma I. Witt, 49 years old, died early today at her home, 426 Schenck street. She was a life-long resident, a member of St. Peter's Lutheran church, Thompson and Bryant streets and the Priscilla Guild and the VonVora society of the church. She leaves a husband, William; two sons, Ronald and William, Jr.; a mother, Mrs. Augusta Acksel; two sisters. Miss Ida Acksel, all of North Tonawanda, and Mrs. Elmer Westphal, Buffalo, and a brother, Arnold Acksel, North Tonawanda. Rites will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the residence. Rev. Ernest Schneppe will officiate. Interment will be in St. Peter's cemetery.
