Notes - Esther L. Snell ( nee Wittkop) age 86 of the Town of Wheatfield Saturday April 13, 2019 after a brief illness. Esther left this life to join her beloved husband, the late Carlo Snell. Born in North Tonawanda on April 5, 1933 she was the daughter of the late Edward and Minne (Donner) Wittkop and sister of the late Ruth Pohl. A member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, she volunteered at the church’s Bazaar and other activities. Other interests included travel to several states, reading and an avid football fan.
Beloved mother of Michael Snell and Edward (Lynne) Snell. Sister-in-law of Wilma Snell. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
No prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Wednesday at 11 AM at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc. 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda. Interment in White Chapel Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
