Glen R. Miller, 51, of 4766
Lower Mountain Road, a mem
ber of Cambria Volunteer Fire
Co., died Tuesday (April 26,
1966) at Mount View Hospital
after a long illness.
He was born Aug. 23, 1914, in
the Town of Cambria, the ton
of Ernest and Anna Bluhm Miller,
and had been a lifelong
resident of the town.
Mr. Miller was employed at
a catcher in the sheet mill at
Simonds Saw & Steel Co. for 11
years and before that had worked
18 years at Harrison Radiator
Division, General Motors
Corp.
He was a member of St. Andrew's
Lutheran Church at Pe-
kin.
Surviving are his widow, Fern
C. Miller; six daughters, Mrs.
Joseph (Glenna) Gates, Pamela,
Dianne, and Christine Miller,
all of Lockport; Mrs. Thomas
(Sharon) Henderson and
Mrs. Peter (Gale) Wolf, of Tonawanda;
two sons, Larry K.
Miller of Lockport and David
G. Miller of North Tonawanda;
and a grandson, Michael P a u l
Gates.
Also surviving are t h r ee
brothers, Walter Miller of Tonawanda,
Lester Miller of Lockport
and Ernest Miller of Newfane,
and several nieces and
nephews.
Beginning this e v e n i n g,
friends may call from 2 to 4
and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Prudden
& Kandt Funeral Home, 242
Genesee St.
Funeral services will be held
at 2 p.m. Friday from St. Andrew's
Lutheran Church, Pekin,
with the Rev. LaVern J. Fitch,
pastor, officiating. Burial will
be in North Ridge Cemetery.
