William J. Braham, 67, of
630 72nd St., died Sunday (Dec.
26, 1965) at Smith Falls, Ont.,
while visiting a son over the
holiday weekend. It is believed
he_suffer.ed.a heart attack.
Born in London, England,
Mr. Braham had lived in Niagara
Falls for the last 50
years. He was last employed
by the city in the Sanitation
Division and later the Parks
Department, leaving in 1962
after about three years service.
Prior to that he was employed
at the Oldibury Chemical
Co. plant, now part of
Hooker Chemical Corp., for
eight years, and the Acheson
Graphite Co. for nine years
and later fo rthe old Bell Aircraft
Corp.
He is survived by his wife,
Mrs. Marion Braham; three
daughters, Mrs. William (Betty)
Wendt, this city; Mrs. Robert
(Polly) Hickey and Mrs.
John (Doris Kistler, both of
Atco, N.J.; five sons, Richard
J., William A. and David D.
Braham , all of this city;
Thomas M. Braham, Smith
Falls, Ont., and John W. Braham,
U. S. Navy, and 19 grandchildren.
Services will be held Wednesday
at 2:30 p.m. at the
Lane Funeral Home, with Rev.
Ray K. Hallin of Bacon Me-
mortal Presbyterian Church
officiating. Burial will be in
Memorial Park.
