  Niagara Gazette - 10/12/1972 NORTH TONAWANDA - Funeral services for Clarence J. Borchert, 77, of 56 Chipman Place will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Wattengel Funeral Home. The Rev. Howard Cramer will officiate. Burial will be in Friedens Cemetery. Mr. Borchert died Tuesday (Oct. 10, 1972) in DeGraff Memorial Hospital. He was employed at the Spaulding Fibre Corp. for 48 years, retiring in 1963. He was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ, past master of Sutherland Lodge 826, F&AM, a. charter member of Tonawandas Post 264, American Legion and the American Legion Last Man's Club. He is survived by his wife, Cora: a sister, Miss Josephine Borchert, and a nephew, Ralph Redenske of Malibu, Calif. Friends may call at the funeral home.
