  Lockport NY Union Sun Journal - 1/10/1933 TON A WANDA, Jan. 18-Ludwlg Long,. 89, died yesterday at his home, 403 Fletcher street, after a short illness. Born in Germany, he came to America when fourteen. He lived on Grand Island 38 years prior to taking up his residence in Tonawanda 38 years ago. He was a member of the First Evangelical church on Morgan street. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Anna Kaegebein, Mrs. Walter Wolf, Mrs. Caroline Beck All of the Tonawandas; Mrs. Clara Fritzke, Pendleton, and Mrs. Mary Hardy, Grand Island. He wee also the father of the late Mrs. Sophie Rohde. Grand Island. He leaves 38 grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 3 o'clock Thursday at the home. The Rev. Henry J. Dute will conduct the services and burial will be on Grand Island.
