- RICHARD L. WILLETTE, age 92 of Wheatfield, NY, entered into rest on February 16, 2021 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born in Mooers, NY on January 3, 1929; son of the late Joseph and Flora (Clamore) Willette. Richard moved to the Western NY area in 1958, and was employed at the National Lead Company, and later in construction, with Operating Engineers Local 462. He served in the United States Army, and received an Honorable Discharge due to an accident. Richard was a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation, Loyal Order of Moose, Hard Hats of Niagara, former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, and Camp Coast to Coast. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling.Richard was one of four brothers and four sisters, and was preceded in death by his wife, Edith K. (Parker) Willette, on June 22, 2019. They were united in marriage on January 10, 1957.Survivors include three step-children, Portia (Richard) Eliseo, Carlene (Ronald) Wolf, and Geraldine (Tom) Martin; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.A private service will take place in Riverdale Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements were with the DuBois Funeral Home, Wheatfield, NY.
