RANSOMVILLE, July 6-The marriage
of Miss Mary Evangeline Wills to
David Courtland Baker, was solemnized
on Wednesday afternoon at 5 o'clock,
at the home of the bride's brother.
Louts Wills, the Rev. C. Warren Pettit
officiating. .
The ceremony was performed before
a bank of lilies and ferns. The bride
was very charming in white satin
basque, carrying a shower bouquet of
white roses, lillies of the valley and
baby breath.
Mrs. Gordon Stacey, sister of the
groom, acted as bridesmaid and was
gowned in a mauve geargette ensem-
ble and carrying ping roses. Gordon
Stacey acted as best man. Jean Wills,
the flower girl, was dressed in pink
taffeta.
Following the ceremony dinner was
served to 30 guests, the table decora-
tions being in jink and white.
The out-of-town guests were Mr. and
Mrs. theodore Blodgett of Syracuse,
Miss Virginia Minor, Mr. and Mrs.
James Schumaker, Mrs. Mussel, Law-
rence Arnold and Miss Charles of Ni-
agara Falls.
Mr. and Mrs. Baker left on a motor
trip through the New England states,
the bride wearing an ensemble of burnt
orange crepe.
The pre-nuptial affairs were a dinner
at Henry Neff's, given by the
teachers of Seventeenth street school,
Niagara Falls; personal shower by Mrs.
James Roach, green and white kitch-
en shower by Mrs. Edward Mussel,
variety showed by Miss Ruth Hoffman,
variety shower by Miss Hazel Baker and
a towel shower by Miss Katherine Wil-
liams.
