Norman B. Zimmerman. 62, well
known resident of North Towwanda,
died unexpectedly early
this morning at his home. 203 Tre-
mont street from internal injuries
received Tuesday in an automobile
collision at Lowell and Elmwood
avenues, Kenmore.
Mr. Zimmerman was in the gar
age business here for 32 years and
at the time of his death conducted
garage business at 203 Tremont
street. He was the first person
to enter the garage business, when
autos began to come into vogue.
Injured Tuesday
Mr. Zimmerman was injured
Tuesday when his car and a car
driven by Albert Doster of Gardenville.
N. Y., collided.
Mr. Zimmerman was a lifetime
resident here. He was custodian
of election machines in North Ton-
awanda at the time of his death.
He was a former member of the
Common Counsil and a member of
the Republican city committee.
Surviving are a wife, Emma;
two daughters, Mrs. W. L. Ramsey
and Mrs. Curtis Newman; one son,
LaVerne Zimmerman, and three
grand children, all of the Tona-
wandas.
