  Niagara Gazette - 9/17/1956 MIDDLEPORT - Mrs. Sophie Lang Woodrich, 82, widow of Wil- liam F. Woodrich, died Saturday (Sept. 15, 1956) at the Bishop Nurs- ing Home, Medina, where she had been a patient for the last six years. Born in Buffalo, Mrs. Wood- rich resided for many years in North Tonawanda before moving to this village, where she had been living with her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Dorothy Lang, Francis St. Surviving are a son,, Walter Lang, this village; two stepsons, John and William Woodrich, and two step- daughters, Mrs. Albertine Meisner and Mrs. Ernest Achterbergh, all of North Tonawanda; five grand- children and 12 great grandchild- ren; a sister, Mrs. John Wittig, Buffalo; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Wal- lace and Heath Funeral Home where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in West Ridgeway Cemetery.
