  Barbara (nee Thompson) Helwig, of North Tonawanda, NY and Ft. Myers Beach, FL, entered into rest on May 28, 2017. Cherished daughter of the late Archibald and late Marion Thompson. Devoted wife of the late Ronald C Helwig. Loving sister of the late Daniel (Sylvia) Thompson and late Thomas Thompson. Survived by Larry (Marianne) Helwig, the late Kevin (Joyce) Helwig, Amy (John) Daigler, Jody (Ross) Rains, Jill (Stephen) Cuccia, and Gail (Brian) Quinn. Beloved grandmother of Michelle (Matt ) Georger, Jason (Martha Harlukiewicz) Helwig, Jessica (Nick) Iwanicki, Adam (Oy McPeters) Daigler, Ashley (Cort) Fondon, Abbey Rains, Marie Cuccia, Kacey and Katey Quinn. Also survived by five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will take place at 3 PM on July 16, 2017 at North Presbyterian Church, 168 Payne Ave., North Tonawanda. Family and friends welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
