TONAWANDA, Dec. 10-Two old
residents of Tonawanda, stricken with
paralysis at almost identically the
same minute late Thursday afternoon.
died Friday. They were Louise
Wythe, 83 years old. 28 Scott street,
and Mrs. Anna Sylvester, 71, 22 Edith
street,
Mrs. Wythe was born in the Town
of Amherst and had lived in Tonawanda
50 years. She was a charter
member of Twin City Council. Daughters
of America, She was a "member
of the Salem Church and the
home department of the church. Surviving
are three sons. Charles and
Harry, Tonawanda. and Reuben. Syracuse;
eight grandchildren and 'one
great grandchild. The funeral will
be held at 2:30 o'clock Monday at
the home. The Rev. Walter F. Het-
zel will officiate and burial will be in
the City cemetery.
Mrs. Sylvester was a lifelong resi-
dent of Tonawanda. She is survived
by her husband Archie; a sister, Mrs.
Elizabeth Woods, Tonawanda. and two
brothers- Henry Voelker. North Tona-
wanda. and William Voelker. Pittsburgh.
Pa. The funeral will be held
at 2 30 o'clock Sunday at the home
Burial will be In the City cemetery.
