WOODWARD-In this city, Monday.
February 2, 1920, Alma E.. beloved
wife of Charles Woodward, mother of
Lorayne Edith, sister of Edith M. and
P. Lorayne Anthony. Services Tues-
day afternoon al 2:00 p. m. from her
late residence. 1635 Whirlpool St., and
from. 1010 Lafayette avenue, Buffalo,
N. Y.. Wednesday afternoon. Burial
Forest Lawn cemetery. Flowers
gratefully declined.

Although not unexpected, the death
of Mrs. Alma E. Woodward last midnight
at her home, No. 1635 Whirlpool
street, has caused poignant grief
to not only the surviving family but
a large number of friends who held
her in the highest esteem. Mrs.
Woodward was the wife of Charles
Woodward, president of the Woodward
Agency, Inc., prominent in insurance
business in this city. Mr.
Woodward is secretary of the Rotary
Club.
About a year ago Mrs. Woodward
underwent an operation from which
she apparently recovered but last November
she suffered a recurrence of
the malady which finally resulted In
her death last night. Both Mrs.
Woodward and her husband were active
in tho affairs of the Epiphany
Episcopal parish and she was also a
member of the Eastern Star. She
possessed a character and personality
which won her many friends and they
are deeply grieved by her untimely
death.
Besides her husband Mrs. Woodward
is survived by their only child,
Lorayne Edith Woodward, nearly
three years old; her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. William Anthony, of No. 1010
Lafayette avenue, Buffalo, and two
sisters, Edith M. and D. Lorayne Anthony,
both of Buffalo.
