 The marriage of Miss
 Alice Lorraine Schofield,
 daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
 Sylvester Schofield, 248
 Young St., and Irving James
 Hils, son of Mrs. Doris Pagels,
 327 Broad St. was
 solemnized June 4 in the
 First Presbyterian Church.
 Vases of white flowers
 adorned the altar for the
 ceremony. The Rev. Howard
 Davies officiated.
 The bride chose a ballerinalength
 strapless gown of Chantilly
 lace worn with a fitted jacket with
 small collar and long pointed
 sleeves. Her elbow length veil was
 attached to a crown of pearls. Her
 bridal bouquet of white carnations
 was centered with an orchid.
 Wearing a strapless gown of
 peach color nylon tulle over satin
 with a matching stole was the matron
 of honor, Mrs. Ann Drapo, sister
 of the bride. She carried a cascade
 bouquet of yellow carnations.
 Leonard Parkhouse attended his
 nephew as best man.
 A rose and gray nylon dress was
 worn by the bride's mother with
 a corsage of pink baby roses. The
 bridegroom's mother chose a
 brown and white print dress with
 brown bolero jacket. She wore a
 corsage of yellow baby roses.
 A wedding supper and reception
 were given in Cleveland Hall. Mr.
 and Mrs. Hils motored to Cleveland.
 They are at home in 19 Hill
 St.
 As her traveling costume, the
 bride wore an orchid colored suit
 with a box jacket, white hat and
 accessories and an orchid corsage.
 Mrs. Ann Drapo, Mrs. Lena Lee,
 Mrs. Betty Thaw, Mrs. Sylvester
 Schofield, Mrs. Isabel Belstadt and
 employes at the Republic Light,
 Heat and Power company entertained
 at pre-nuptial parties.
