LEWISTON Thomas A.
Vevirit, 75, of 145 S. Seventh
St., died Thursday (June 4,
1970) in Mount St. Mary's
Hospital where he had been a
patient for about 10 days.
Mr. Vevirit was the manager
of the former Vevirit Lumber
Co. in Lewiston for 48 years.
He was a native of Long
Island, born Feb. 5, 1895, and
had lived in Niagara Falls
before coming to this village
in 1916.
He was a charter member
of t h e Lewiston-Queenston
Rotory Club and a member of
the Holy Name Society of St.
Peters Church.
He is survived by his widow,
Mrs. Josephine Vivirito Vevirit;
two daughters, Mrs. A n i ta
Gaughan of Cleveland Heights,;
Ohio, and Mrs. Sylvia Ann
Lovett of Cheektowaga; two
brothers, Peter Vevirit o f
lewiston and James Vevirit of
W i l l i a m s v i l l e , and four
grandsons.
The funeral will be Monday
at the Hardison Funeral Home,
lewiston, at a time to be announced.

9 p.m. today and from 2 to
5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday
and Sunday
