Allendorf Court. Order of the
Amaranth, died yesterday in Rose Hospital
after a long illness
For the past year, she had lived with
her son. Donald I Briggs. at 5676 Tilden
Hill Road. Verona
She was also a member of the First
- Usited Methodist Church of Rome and
the White Shrine of Utica
She was born in Boonville, daughter of
Elmer and Maude Burgy Sr . and at
tended Port Leyden schools
In 1926 she was married to Irving L
Briggs in Rome. The couple moved to
Rome.in 1941. Mr. Briggs died in 1970
Besides her son. Mrs Briggs leaves a
brother. John Burgy Sr.. of Westdale
• The funeral will be at 10 Thursday
from the Prince and Boyd Home for
Funerals Burial will be in Port Leyden
Cemetery.
