- Dario C. D’Antuono, 91, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on April 9, 2020 at his residence in Niagara Falls. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Antonio and Caroline (LoStracco) D’Antuono.
Dario was employed as a foreman with Laborer’s Local #91 in Niagara Falls for over 35 years. In his younger years, he was a Middleweight Golden Gloves Boxer. He enjoyed bike riding, tennis, gardening, and Italian dining. He was predeceased in 2004 by his wife of 30 years, Mary (Washburn) D’Antuono.
Dario is survived by his children, Mark D’Antuono, Candace Powell, Patricia (Richard) Cogdal, and Kenny D’Antuono; his siblings, Antonio (Luann) D’Antuono, Joseph (Linda) D’Antuono, Lewis (Florence) D’Antuono, Rose (Thomas) Dorgan, Shirley D’Antuono Racine, and Jack (Janine) D’Antuono, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins, his caregiver, Brenda Wallace and his dear friends Mark & Lonnie Neumann & Doug and Karen Calaman. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by his siblings, Mario D’Antuono, Guido D’Antuono, Genevieve ‘Jenny’ (late Lawrence) Chiarenza, Olga (James) Allen, Robert D’Antuono, and Lawrence (Judy) D’Antuono.
