Mrs. Estellar Riley, 68, of
84721 Million Dollar Highway,
Albion, died early Sunday
morning at the Medina
Memorial Hospital after being
in ill health for the past seven
years.
Mrs. Riley was born in Fort
Valley, Ga., Sept. 11, 1912, the
daughter of the late Jake and
Martha Wheatfield Lindsey.
She moved to the Medina
area in 1943. She had engaged
in farm work in the area until
she became ill. She was a
member of the Bethel Baptist
Church of Medina.
Mrs. Riley is survived by her
husband, Oscar Riley; one son, Willie (Florzell) Riley of
Medina; four daughters, Mrs.
James (Edna) Bloom of
Medina, Mrs. Milton (Charlie
Mae) Fluellen of Medina, Mrs.
Albert (Aldora) Bloom of
Medina, Mrs. Robert (Sally)
Johnson of Medina; 29 grandchildren;
13 greatgrandchildren;
two brothers,
Fred Lindsey of Medina and
William Lindsey of Atlanta,
Ga.; one sister, Clara Durham
of Goulds, Fla. and several
nieces and nephews.
Friends may call starting
Wednesday (2-4 and 7-9) at the
Barnes-Tuttle Inc., Funeral
Home, 226 Pearl St., Medina. A
funeral service will be held
Friday at 2 p.m. at the Bethel
Baptist Church, Allis Road,
Medina, one mile west of
Medina off Rt. 31. Burial will be
in Boxwood Cemetery, Medina
