Mrs. Carmela (Millie) Alongi,
72, 2432 Woodlawn Ave., died
unexpectedly in Memorial Hospital
today (Dec. 14, 1967).
Bom in Agrigento, Sicily, she
came to this country in 1913.
After living in Brooklyn for 20
years, she came to this city and
had lived here since. She was
a member of Our Lady of Mount
Carmel Church.
She is survived by three daughters,
Mrs. J a m e s (Carmel)
Bruno; Mrs. Robert (Lilyan)
Buresch, and Mrs. Eugene (Jo-
sephine) Campana, all of this
city, and two sons, Vito A. and
Anthony V. Alongi, this city.
She is a l s o survived by 17
grandchildren and a greatgrandchild.
Funeral services will be held
at-the Spallino Funeral Home
Saturday at 9:30 a.m. ,and at
Our Lady of Mount Carmel
Church at 10 a.m.
Burial will be in G a t e of
Heaven Cemetery.
Friends may- call tonight from
7 to 10 p.m. and Friday from 1
to'10 p.m.
