ERSILIO N. BUFFONE
Worked for Candella Construction
Wheatfield - Ersilio N. "Buff" Buffone, 59, of Tawny Drive, died Tuesday (Sept. 18, 1990) in DeGraff Memorial Hospital, North Tonawanda.
Buffone was a Niagara Falls native and a 1949 graduate of the former Trott Vocational High School.
Buffone was a supervisor at the Candella Construction Co. for 30 years and a member of the East Side Business Association.
He was the son of Alexander and Marie (Alfano) Buffone and brother of the late Oswald Buffone.
Mr. Buffone is survived by his wife, Grace M. (Schipiani) Buffone; two daughters, Mary Melloni of Wheatfield, and Elizabeth Lynn Costa of Niagara Falls, a son, Nicholas C. Buffone of Niagara Falls; four stepsons, John LeBar of Lewiston, Glenn Shepherd of Denver, and Clifford Shepherd and Richard Shepherd, both of the Town of Niagara; two stepdaughters, Barbara Elkins and Linda Doust, both of Niagara Falls; two brothers, Joseph E. Buffone of Youngstown and Eugene A. Buffone of Niagara Falls; and 21 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm today at the M.J. Colucci & Son Funeral Chapel, 468 19th Street. A parish biblical wake service will be held at 3:30 pm today at the funeral home.
Services will be held at 8:45 am Friday at the funeral home and at 9:15 am in St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 1413 Pine Avenue.
Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
Contributions to the American Heart Association are acceptable as tribute.
