- Jerene Carol Eiler, 88, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 23, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Niagara Falls on April 28, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Jerome and Gertrude Armbrust.
Jerene was married to her devoted husband, Robert Eiler, for 71 years. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and an unbreakable bond. They were inseparable best friends who stood by one another through all the seasons of life. Their partnership was a true testament to enduring love, inspiring all who were lucky enough to witness it.
Raised in Niagara Falls, Jerene attended the local school system, where she cultivated a deep sense of kindness, compassion, and quiet strength. She spent many years as a teacher’s aide, where her gentle patience and nurturing spirit touched the lives of countless children. Jerene's devotion to others was evident in everything she did.
She was a woman of many interests, Jerene was creative, loving, and always eager to find joy in the simple moments. She had a passion for reading, quilting, and camping, and cherished every opportunity to spend time with her family. Whether gathered around a campfire, stitching a new quilt, or simply enjoying a quiet afternoon, those who knew her will always remember her warmth and the joy she brought to every occasion.
Jerene is survived by her devoted husband, Robert Eiler, and their loving children: Robert James Jr. (Beverly), Susan Jean, and Andrew Todd (Brenda). She was a proud and adoring grandmother to Brandon (Kerri), Robert James III (Jennifer), Justin Corey, Marissa Lynae (Drew), Alyvia Marcel (Cameron), and Justin and the cherished great-grandmother of nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her dear brother, Donald Armbrust (Judy), nieces and nephews and by many members of the large and loving Eiler family, Robert’s twelve siblings and their spouses and families, who shared a lifetime of cherished memories with her.
Jerene was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Jerome and Gertrude Armbrust, and her precious daughter, Patricia Ann Hamm. Though some have gone before her, their love and connection remain part of the family’s enduring bond.
In her passing, Jerene leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and strength that will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, forever woven into the fabric of their lives.
