  NF Gazette Jan 25, 1959 Mother Dies Soon After Birth of Son A mother died Saturday less than five hours after the death of her one-day-old son at Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Ninfa Shomers, 42, of 1029 92nd St., died at 3:45 p.m. (Jan. 24, 1959) apparently of a heart attack. The infant was born at 12:23 a.m. Friday and died unexpectedly at 10:55 a.m. Saturday (Jan. 24, 1959). Surviving are Mrs. Shomer's husband, John P. Shomers, a city fireman; three children, Janet Mae Shomers, 16 Yvonne Carol Shomers, 14, and John P. Shomers Jr., 8; and her father, Sebastian Moceri, Niagara Falls. Services will be arranged later today. They will be held at the Magaddino Funeral Chapel.
