(nee Vancheri), 92, of North Tonawanda on June 22, 2023, after a long illness. Born in France, she immigrated to the United States in 1963 following her husband’s military career. Wife of the late Louis F. Thompson. Loving mother of Shirley (David) Shoen. Stepmother of James F. Thompson and the late Janet (William) Bault.
Sister of Michel Vancheri and the late Lena (Jules) Baldoni. Proud grandmother of Jacqueline (Ross) Trainor, Alan (Carson) Shoen, Ty Thompson, William “Billy” (Lois) Watson and the late J.R. Bault. Great-grandmother of Liam, Caleb, Micaela, Nathan and
the late Nicole.
Friends and family are invited to attend Memorial Services at St. Mark Episcopal Church,
Payne Avenue and Tremont Streets on Saturday July 1, 2023 at 1:00 P.M.
Concetta “Connie”, worked at Tops Markets on Goundry Street for over 20 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a great French Cook and would feed anyone who entered her home. She enjoyed gardening and her friends. She was a special friend to Katherine Strong and Linda Turecki and Peter. She will be missed by so many.
Memorials may be made to Niagara County Hospice, Inc, or White Whiskers Senior Dog Sanctuary of WNY.
